Happy Mbale: I would like to tell you a little about my self. My name is Happy and I came from Zambia so as to pursue my education here in Russia. I would say that so far so good, in that I am learning well and that I am receiving the right material, which expected to receive. I am a kind of a person who, since from childhood have been thinking in line of doing a technological course and when I grew up that’s when I really discovered the real field of study that I was dreaming about was the field computer science. I hope that even as I learn here in Russia I will get the knowledge that would help me to do something, that is to make a discovery or maybe a hypothesis that will contribute to the field of computer science and to the world as a whole. That’s all cheers.

Millicent: My student life have being with a lot of fun. Quite frankly I’ll say it hasn’t been easy especially when it comes to school work. Not to talk about friend -relation problems . fun in school l should say is intense than anywhere else but can only exist when school work is smooth on path. School in itself comes under control when you come to find out it can always be made so. I keep to say fun in school is with books .schooling all my life has be fun and lesson teaching .

Paul Machona: My name is Paul Machona and I come from the beautiful land of Zambia. Zambia is a country found in Africa located in central southern Africa. I started my student life when I was seven years old. I was in primary school for seven years and went on to secondary school. In Zambia secondary school is for five years after which one should be able to join the university if he has attained good results. My results were good enough for me to enter the university but then our universities back home had only just started offering computer science so they lacked experience and that’s how I looked around for scholarships. I got to read about the Russian scholarships in the daily paper and applied few were called to write aptitude tests and even fewer made it to the next stage after which even fewer were healthy enough to travel. We landed in Moscow on the 19th of September 2001. We rested for one week and on the 27th started our first lesson. The first word I ever knew in Russian was hai which translates as “привет” and the first verb was read which translates as “читать” I had an excellent teacher and in no time I was beginning to understand the language but the we started learning the rest of the subjects and it all became clear that the standard of education in Zambia is just two low. We had to learn so many new things that other students already knew. We were in a preparatory faculty for nine months, and during those nine months we learnt the language and understood the sciences in Russian. We had holidays and events and that was my best year in Russia. I traveled to Rostov on the Don, Azof. Novgorad and Moscow. I made friends with people from all walks of life and so many different countries. I am now in first course and there is still so much that we have to learn that we should have learned back home. I appreciate the Russian system of education.
